2026 Farm Shares
Start Your food Adventure
We’re thrilled to invite you to join our 2026 Farm Share! Each season, we grow over 40 varieties of fresh, flavorful fruits and vegetables, raise meat chickens on pasture, and this year are expanding our laying flock — this is your chance to enjoy what the farm provides all season long. In addition to our normal produce offering, we are excited to add a chicken share, an egg share, a farm debit card option, and a donation option to our offerings!
By becoming a Farm Share member (also known as joining a CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture) you become a valued partner in our farm and join an incredible community. Your early commitment helps us get the season started, buy giving us the upfront funding necessary to buy seeds and fertilizer, and buy chicks, hens, and feed - and in return, you receive a steady supply of just-harvested, locally grown produce and pasture raised poultry throughout the season. It’s a delicious way to eat clean, support local agriculture, and feel connected to the land that feeds you.
For all of our 2026 offerings:
The season runs for 28 weeks, from May 10 - November 15.
You'll gain access to member's only content, cooking tips and tricks, recipes, and more.
You’ll have first dibs on additional items we sell through a weekly ordering site.

Members will receive a box of produce weekly for the duration of the season (28 weeks). Our boxes offer a seasonal variety of produce and access to storage crops that will last beyond the season (potatoes, onion, garlic, winter squash, etc.). We grow using organic or better than organic practices and never use chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
We have two produce share sizes to choose from. A large share and a small share - the large share can feed a family of 2-4 and has 8-10 varieties of produce each week. A small share feeds a family of 1-2 and has 4-6 varieties each week.
We raise our chickens on pasture without the use of antibiotics or hormones. It is important to us that our birds have access to the outdoors and are treated in the most humane way possible. We move them onto fresh pasture twice a day where they can forage for seeds and bugs and we supplement their diet with non GMO feed from a mill here in Virginia.
We offer two chicken share sizes - a large share which will provide our members with 4 whole birds a month, and a small share, which will provide 2 whole birds a month. The birds will range from 3.5-4.1 lbs. Distribution will be monthly, on first delivery day of the month from May - November. Taxes and fees are included.
This year we’re expanding our laying flock and offering egg shares. Our hens are raised on pasture with ample access to open fields for foraging. To ensure they receive the nutrients necessary for laying, we supplement their diet with a high protein non GMO feed from a mill here in Virginia.
Our egg share offers a dozen eggs weekly, for the 28 weeks of the season, starting the week of May 10th.
We’re trying something new for our local folks! If you want to support our farm at the beginning of the season, but want the option to choose what you receive, then the farm debit card may be a good option.
This debit card can be used at our booth at the Blackstone Farmers Market and can be used on anything we sell. You can spend as much or as little as you want each week. Please know that there are certain items we only grow for our farm share members and those won’t be available at our farmers market booth.
Upon purchase of the debit card, you will receive a digital card for use at the market - please allow one week for the card to be emailed. Taxes and fees are included.
Each year we have individuals and families with unique needs who need a bit of extra support from their community, and we provide it without question. This year we are inviting our customers to help us pay for the support we provide by providing a donation of your choice.
Your donation goes towards providing our fresh produce and eggs weekly throughout the season by helping pay for a farm share. This year it’s more important than ever – thank you so much for contributing to a farm share for one of your community members!

We process our chickens on site, vacuum seal them, then freeze them. The vacuum sealer we use says it will keep food for 2 years in a freezer. Of course, we eat ours well before the two year mark - but suffice it to say, it will last a long while!
